Welcome to Google Apps at Texas A&M. Texas A&M Gmail is the official email system for all students. Texas A&M also provides a suite of web-based integrated communication and collaboration tools including Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Groups, Google Hangouts and Google Sites.
All students receive a Google Apps account with an unlimited data quota. Faculty can request an account to collaborate with students. Staff eligibility is determined at the department level. Contact your local IT administrator for questions about staff eligibility.
Texas A&M faculty and staff* may request Google Apps accounts by visiting Gateway.tamu.edu. To learn how to request an account, visit the Claiming a Texas A&M University Gmail Account page on Help Desk Central. Your email address will be “YourNetID@email.tamu.edu.”
